A significant feature of the area is Lake Wivenhoe, the major water source for southeast Queensland and twice the capacity of Sydney Harbour. The intermediate town of Coominya has limited facilities. WebStarting at the Yarraman Heritage Centre, Yarraman, the 100 mile event travels the entire BVRT to Brassall and finishes at the Ipswich Grammar School Playing Fields (IGS). It picks up the start of the 100km at Harlin, the 50 mile at Toogoolawah, the marathon at Coominya and finally, the half marathon at Fernvale.
