It starred Alan Alda as Hawkeye Pierce and Wayne Rogers as Trapper John McIntyre. In the 4th season, Rogers left the show and was replaced by Mike Farrell as B. J. Hunnicutt. In it, Hawkeye and Charles attempted to get Marilyn Monroe to visit the 4077th, while B.J. receives the Bronze Star for a deed he believes was far from heroic.
